APs detected at a single spot

I was surprised to see so many APs when I opened my Macbook in the middle of Ayala Avenue Makati City. I've never seen so many APs in one spot.

Curious about the "Other..." entry.

Now I am tempted to go there, fire-up Kismac and crack their encryption. hehehe

i get that all the time here in makati. tons of APs but most are closed. used to leech off this H9300G while i was still waiting for my globe application... pretty strong signal too. turns out that it was globe's also... they can't lock it according to the guy who installed my internet. He said it's for their wireless broadband thingy whatever... anyway, to return the favor, i didn't put a lock on mine for a week. free leeching to whoever gets my signal.

H9300G is just the name of the AP that globe uses for a different product. I didn't really understand the details but according to the guy who installed my line... they offer the wireless broadband for areas that they can't cover yet with physical lines. In makati, you can't apply for that because they're offering the regular lines here. But the H9300G's signal still pretty strong and i can still connect. not as fast as my current connection tho.
