Hilarious. I don't mean to parrot what everybody at MacRumors is saying but really -- Nokia is definitely hurting... and they ARE sore.

I hope Apple wins the case AND wins the counter-suit. Nokia has long disappeared from grace and now they're just absolutely pathetic.

Nokia can't beat the iPhone in revenue but beats it in market-share worldwide. So, now it wants a cut of the moolah.

When Apple starts selling sub-P5k iPhones, or even sub-P10k ones, then maybe. Otherwise forget it.

Don't dismiss Nokia just yet. Check out they 5530 Xpress Music. Great feature vs. price point. WiFi for the masses!

Yeah, I think that's the one my wife had -- just before I got her the 3Gs. She had that Nokia for about a little over a month.

Terrible touch screen compared to the iPhone's. The plastic made it feel flimsy and cheap and the response just wasn't as crisp as the Apple products' (iPod Touch included).

Don't get me started with Nokia's interface either...

I agree Nokia is hurting and definitely going down in terms of their bottom line. However, eventhough I like the products of Apple, if the claim of Nokia is true, then Apple is definitely liable and should be paying what is due.

If it is just a ploy, then I do hope Apple will win.

I doubt Apple will give a low cost iPhone. Their business model is good product at good or high profit margin

Yes, the plastic structure may be arguably flimsy but the touchscreen response is great. No multi-touch and pinch zoom - of course. C'mon it's not an iPhone killer but at PHP 11,500 with Wifi, it's a steal!
